How is net receipts calculated?

Net receipts is the customer charge minus Stripe fees for that transaction.

Can I publish free books only?

Yes. You can stay in free-only mode and publish without enabling paid pricing.

When can I publish paid books?

After Stripe Connect onboarding is complete for the seller account.

Who handles taxes?

Sellers are responsible for their own taxes, filings, and local compliance obligations.

Who handles refunds and disputes?

Cafaye handles customer-side payment operations, then applies seller-caused refund and dispute amounts against seller payout balances.

When do seller payouts run?

Eligible sales are prepared on a weekly cycle (about every 7 days) after Stripe onboarding is complete, with extra review only when a payment risk issue appears.
